1. Fair and Safe Working Conditions

1.1 Compliance with National Labor Laws
Producers must follow all relevant Cambodian labor laws, including working hours, contracts, and benefits.

1.2 Healthy and Hazard-Free Workplaces
Work environments must be clean, ventilated, and free from physical, chemical, or emotional harm.

1.3 Reasonable Working Hours and Rest
Working hours must be humane, with required rest days and no excessive overtime.

1.4 Access to Clean Water and Sanitation
Workers must have access to clean drinking water, hygienic toilets, and basic health facilities.

1.5 Emergency Protocols and Safety Equipment
Producers must provide emergency exits, first aid supplies, and proper training for safety procedures.

2. Fair Wages and Worker Rights

2.1 Living Wage Compliance

All workers must be paid a wage that meets or exceeds the local living wage standard.

2.2 Timely and Transparent Payment
Wages must be paid on time, with clear records and no illegal deductions.

2.3 Paid Leave and Legal Benefits
Workers are entitled to paid holidays, sick leave, maternity leave, and other lawful benefits.

3.3 Ban on Hazardous Chemicals

3.4 Ecosystem Protection

Operations should avoid deforestation, water contamination, and harm to local biodiversity.

3.5 Climate and Emissions Awareness
Producers are encouraged to reduce carbon emissions and adopt eco-friendly practices where possible.

4. Zero Exploitation and Equal Opportunity

4.1 No Child or Forced Labor

No worker should be employed under coercion, and no child under legal working age is permitted.

4.2 Non-Discrimination

Hiring, pay, and promotion must be free from bias based on gender, ethnicity, religion, or background.
